1. INTRODUCTION

CHARGESQUARE BİLİŞİM TEKNOLOJİLERİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ (the “Company” or “ChargeSquare”) cares about the privacy of its users. This Privacy Policy has been prepared to explain the principles governing the collection, use, storage, sharing and security of users’ personal data. ChargeSquare acts in compliance with Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“KVKK”), the European General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and other applicable legislation.

This Policy applies to individuals who use the ChargeSquare mobile application and the website located at www.chargesquare.com.

3.7 Usage Data: Screen transitions, click analytics, page visit frequency, timestamps 
3.8 Marketing Data: Campaign participation information, survey responses, preferences and areas of interest 
3.9 Financial Data: Encrypted payment information (ChargeSquare does not store payment details directly) 
3.10 Visual and Audio Data: Voice recordings captured during support calls, photographs and similar media

4. METHODS OF COLLECTING PERSONAL DATA

Personal data may be collected through the following channels:

  • User account creation and update processes

  • Charging session and reservation screens

5.1 Provision of the service: Locating charging stations, reservations, route planning, payment transactions 
5.2 Identity verification: Membership processes and user access control 
5.3 Customer services: Requests, complaints and support notifications 
5.4 Security and fraud prevention: Monitoring system security via IP, device and session data 
5.5 Personalisation: Providing recommendations based on the user’s historical data

6. SHARING AND TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA

ChargeSquare may use cookies in order to enhance the user experience, analyse use of the site and personalise advertising. Cookie preferences can be managed through web browser settings.

10. YOUR RIGHTS AS A DATA SUBJECT

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, users have the right to:

  • Learn whether their personal data is being processed

  • Request information if their data has been processed

  • Learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose

  • Know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred, domestically or abroad

  • Request the rectification and erasure of their data

  • Object to outcomes arising from automated systems

  • Claim compensation where they have suffered damage

11. HOW TO SUBMIT A REQUEST

Users may submit requests regarding their personal data in writing to info@chargesquare.com. Requests are concluded within 30 days at the latest.

12. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES

The Company may update this Policy in line with legislative changes and internal operational requirements. The current text is available at www.chargesquare.com.

13. EFFECTIVE DATE

This Privacy Policy takes effect as of its date of publication and remains valid for as long as it is published on the Company’s website and application.
